Useful before you book

Keep the plan comfortable.

Arrange the essentials

Keep the three mainland accommodation blocks. Have a rental car by January 2 evening and return it January 7. January 3 needs return and outbound ferry tickets for four, Ceiba parking, and a separate Vieques driver. Select a pickup location with confirmed Saturday hours.

Read the timing correctly

All times are Puerto Rico local time (AST). January 3’s 8:30 a.m. outbound and 5:30 p.m. return are targets from the verified August–November 2026 Sunday timetable. They are not verified January 2027 departures. Update the sightseeing blocks to match the tickets you can actually reserve.

Enjoy the setting

No swimming, snorkeling, waterslide or kayak activities are planned. The Vieques day ends before nighttime bio-bay tours; the optional La Parguera outing remains on January 5. Photographs show real places on earlier dates, not a promise of current conditions or access.

Viator choices and the Vieques revision were researched November 4, 2026. MCP searches did not yield a verified daytime-only Vieques land tour that fits this ferry plan, so the island driver is a separate local arrangement with a quoted price still required. The latest official ferry PDF verified covers August–November 2026; January 3 times and seats remain unverified. Visitor pages support the proposed sights. The bomba listing’s detailed timing/location and the January 6 festival’s exact 2027 program still need confirmation. Photos and layout work offline; external links require internet.
